Volunteer Deposit Program
8U - 14U Parents (Tball & Little Slugger players are excluded):
Each family is asked to volunteer time helping with concessions, cleaning, field prep, garbage clean up, coaching, umpiring, board service, etc.
All families are required to provide a separate $200 volunteer check/deposit at the start of the season, dated for June 1, 2025, made out to Arcadia Youth Association. These checks can be provided to the coach for your oldest child. 1 check per family.
You are asked to provide 3 hours of volunteer time for each registered child, with a maximum of 6 hours per family. If the family completed the required volunteer hours, the check will be shredded/discarded. If the family does not complete the volunteer hours, the check will be deposited into the AYA general fund.
If you plan to NOT complete your volunteer hours, please indicate this at the time you provide the check.
If you sign up for a shift but do not show up, find a replacement yourself, or provide adequate notice, the $200 deposit check will be deposted in the AYA general fund.
Head Coach and Assistant coach families do not need to complete additional volunteer hours. Volunteer coaching may qualify for volunteer hours, but is at the discretion of the head coach and the AYA board.
